City Camp: Venezuelan taste

We are welcoming children (9-13 years) to spend great time over the school holiday and learn more about different cultures and cooking traditions. 

City Camp is taking place from July 27th until July 29th in Tallinn, Liivalaia 28 and it will be instructed by Milagro from Venezuela.

Let’s learn together how to cook and eat several Venezuelan foods, play games and get to know more about different cultures! 

 

Schedule:

Tuesday, 27th of July
Cooking & playing together with Milagro
On the menu: Arepas with Reina pepiada (chicken salad) Typical Venezuelan dish, made with corn flour and filled with a chicken salad, mayonnaise and avocado.
Once eaten, we play funny moving games!

 

Wednesday, 28th of July
Cooking & playing together with Milagro
On the menu: Snacks day. We will make two of our favorite appetizers, Tequeños, cheese sticks made with wheat flour and Empanadas, made with corn flour and stuffed with cheese and meat.
Once eaten, we play funny quizzes!

 

Thursday, 29th of July
Cooking & playing together with Milagro
On the menu: Meatballs with pasta
Once eaten, we play funny moving games!

 

*Each day lasts from 11am to 3pm.
*Languages in the camp: Estonian and English
*Fee: 75 eur (three days) or 30 eur (one day)

Camp is organised by social enterprise Siin & Sääl OÜ and Estonian Refugees Council jointly with people with refugee or migrant background living in Estonia.
